Today we celebrate fatherhood! When the family comes to the pool, fathers swim for free.
Register at the Aquatic Center by 1:30 pm on event day. A panel of three judges will score participants in two divisions: Flow Board and Stand Up. All participants have 60 seconds to show their skills. The top scores will compete in the final round for prizes in each division! All Stand Up competitors must sign a waiver.
The Village of Glendale Heights is excited to offer self-guided tours of the Historic House on the fourth Saturday of every month this summer! Stop by any time between 10:00 am and noon to take a step back in time. Originally built in 1888, this community treasure was donated by Merle Reskin in 1999 to help share the rich history of our village.
¡Ven y disfruta! Piñatas, nachos, and música will take over la piscina for a day! Play games and enjoy a fiesta in the heat of the summer sol.
Come celebrate our Nation’s Independence Day at the Aquatic Center! Wear red, white and blue and join us as we parade across the pool deck. Parade will start promptly at 1:45 pm.
Glendale Heights Fest, one of the most anticipated events in the western suburbs, takes place every July at Camera Park, located at 101 E. Fullerton Avenue in Glendale Heights. This exciting festival features thrilling carnival rides, engaging games, an impressive lineup of live music, and plenty of family-friendly activities. With a spectacular fireworks show to close out the weekend, you’re in for an unforgettable display of lights and color at dusk on Sunday night!

Having a membership has its privileges! Pass Holders can enjoy one FREE hot dog beginning at 12:30 pm, while supplies last. Non-members may purchase a hot dog for $3.
Games and activities revolving around everyone’s favorite summer treat: ice cream! Pass Holders can enjoy one FREE ice cream cup. Sundae bar opens at 3:00 pm while supplies last. Non-members may purchase ice cream for $2.
Calling all artists! The pool deck will be your canvas. Celebrate Parks and Recreation Month by drawing your favorite FUN activity, or anything that makes you HAPPY! Enjoy drawing, or just walking the deck and checking out the work of our talented artists! Artwork will be posted on Facebook and voted on to determine prize winners in multiple categories.

National Night Out Against Crime is celebrated annually on the first Tuesday in August by Law Enforcement Agencies across the United States. The Glendale Heights Police Department invites you and your family to come out and show your support for crime and drug prevention in Glendale Heights.
This free event is open to all residents and is meant to raise awareness about crime prevention in our community. The Glendale Heights Police Department has coordinated an evening of fun featuring a police dunk tank, games, a visit from McGruff the crime fighting mascot and emergency apparatus demonstrations by the Glenside Fire Protection District. Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, water and snacks will be offered for free.
Versiti Blood Center will be at the Village Hall in the Training Room accepting blood donations from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Come on out to the Sports Hub with your family and enjoy a day of fitness and fun! Participation is FREE, but registration is required prior to the event. Online registration opens on July 15.
Enjoy the following FREE fitness activities with your family:
- Entrance to the Fitness Center for individuals 16 and older (13 and older are allowed entrance with an adult).
- A Personal Trainer will be available on-site to answer any health and fitness questions.
- Access to Open Gym which includes: pickleball, basketball, volleyball and soccer on the turf field.
- Virtual Fitness classes including: yoga, ab & core workouts, stretching classes and many more.
- Ping Pong and Bocce Ball will be available at our front desk upon request.
- Giveaways for everyone to enjoy!
- Lunch will be provided!
At the end of the event, everyone will be invited to enjoy the pool at the GH2O Aquatic Center!
