Games and activities revolving around everyone's favorite summer treat: ice cream! Sundae bar at 3:00 pm while supplies last.
Ahoy Captain! Bring your friends and build your boats and see who can make it the furthers across our pool! Supplies will be given to your team of 'maties to build the sturdiest boat possible. Prizes will be given to the most creative team, but it doesn't end there. Your team will then see how their boat fares on the high seas by participating in a relay race. Prizes will be given to the fastest and the last boat standing.
National Night Out against Crime is celebrated annually on the 1st Tuesday in August by Law Enforcement Agencies across the United States. The Glendale Heights Police Department invites you and your family to join them on Tuesday, August 2nd from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Village campus, to show your support for crime and drug prevention in Glendale Heights. The Campus is located at 300 Civic Center Plaza.
This free event is open to all residents. Activities and events include a police dunk tank, games, a visit from McGruff the crime fighting mascot, emergency apparatus demonstrations by the Glenside and Bloomingdale Fire Protection Districts. Also during the event, Versity Blood Center will be at the Village Hall in the Training Room accepting blood donations from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, soft drinks and snacks will be offered free of charge and served by Glendale Heights Police Officers, Village Officials and the Glendale Heights Junior Woman's Club.

Surf's up! Join us for the raddest FlowRider competition in town! A panel of three judges will score participants in two divisions: Flow Board and Stand Up. All participants have 60 seconds to show their skills, top scores will compete in the final round for prizes in each division! All stand up competitors must sign a waiver.
Registration is in person at the Aquatic Center by 1:30 pm on event day.
