Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th at 11:00 am at Veterans Memorial Park, we honor the memory of the brave men and women who died while serving our country. The Glendale Heights VFW Post 2377 will conduct a "Fallen Warrior Ceremony" followed by a solemn wreath laying ceremony. This includes a flag and color guard presentation, rifle salute and playing of Taps.

Come join us for an unforgettable summer experience! Our series showcases talented artists and musicians from various genres, providing a perfect opportunity for you to relax, unwind and enjoy the company of friends and family.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets and enjoy a relaxing evening at Camera Park. The series is family-friendly and free to attend, so gather your loved ones and come enjoy the summer breeze with us.

Historic House Open Houses

The Village of Glendale Heights is offering self-guided tours at the Historic House this summer! The Historic House was originally built in 1888 and has since been restored to tell the rich history of our community.

Saturday, September 28 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Happening during the Harvest Fest!)
FlowRider Competition
Sunday, June 23, 2024, 2:00pm - 3:00pm, GH20 Aquatic Center (240 Civic Centre Plaza)
Register at the Aquatic Center by 1:30 pm on event day. Panel of three judges will score participants in two divisions: Flow Board and Stand Up. All participants have 60 seconds to show their skills, top scores will compete in the final round for prizes in each division!
All Stand Up competitors must sign waiver.
Fiesta Day

¡Ven y disfruta! Piñatas, nachos, and música will take over la piscina for a day! Play games and enjoy a fiesta in the heat of the summer sol.
4th of July Celebration

Come celebrate our Nation’s Independence Day at the Aquatic Center! Wear red, white and blue and join us as we parade
across the pool deck. Parade will start promptly at 1:45 pm. Games and prizes throughout the day!
Glendale Heights Fest
Thursday, July 11, 2024 - Sunday, July 14, 2024, Camera Park (101 E Fullerton Ave)Known to many as one of the western suburbs’ premier events, Glendale Heights Fest is held in July of each year at Camera Park, 101 E. Fullerton Avenue in Glendale Heights. Enjoy carnival rides and games, along with a great lineup of live music, family fun, and delicious food. Experience the “best fireworks in the western suburbs” and take in a breathtaking display at dusk on closing night!
National Hot Dog Day

Membership has its privileges! Season Pass Holders can enjoy one FREE hot dog beginning at 1:00pm, while supplies last. Non-members may purchase a hot dog for $3.
National Ice Cream Day

Games and activities revolving around everyone’s favorite summer treat: ice cream! Season Pass Holders can enjoy one FREE ice cream cup. Sundae bar opens at 3:00 pm while supplies last. Non-members may purchase ice cream for $2.
Art Deck-O Contest

Calling all artists! The pool deck will be your canvas. Celebrate Parks and Recreation Month by drawing your favorite FUN
activity, or anything that makes you HAPPY! Enjoy drawing, or just walking the deck and checking out the work of our talented artists! Artwork will be posted on Facebook and voted on to determine prize winners in multiple categories.
