Celebrate the start of the season at the GHYBS Game Day event! Bring your team spirit and enjoy a fun-filled day with sign decorating to support your favorite teams, exciting games, face painting, music, and delicious food. Plus, don’t miss a special appearance by Laces, the beloved GHYBS mascot.

Memorial Day Ceremony
Monday, May 26, 2025, 11:00am - 11:30am, Veterans Memorial Park (220 E. Fullerton Avenue)
In May, community volunteers will be planting flags to represent the fallen heroes from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan. On Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th at 11:00 am at Veterans Memorial Park, we honor the memory of the brave men and women who died while serving our country. The Glendale Heights VFW Post 2377 will conduct a “Fallen Warrior Ceremony” followed by a solemn wreath laying ceremony. This includes a flag and color guard presentation, rifle salute and playing of Taps.
Concert in the Park Series

Our Concert in the Park Series is the perfect way to unwind and enjoy warm evenings filled with live music and great vibes!
These concerts showcase talented artists and musicians from a variety of genres. There's something for everyone to enjoy—whether you're into classic rock, pop, country, or something in between. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the free weekly concerts with your friends and family!
Food and drinks will be available for purchase, so come hungry and ready to have a good time!

Historic House Open Houses
Saturday, June 28, 2025, Historic House (311 Windy Point Drive)The Village of Glendale Heights is excited to offer self-guided tours of the Historic House on the fourth Saturday of every month this summer! Stop by any time between 10:00 am and noon to take a step back in time. Originally built in 1888, this community treasure was donated by Merle Reskin in 1999 to help share the rich history of our village.

Glendale Heights Fest, one of the most anticipated events in the western suburbs, takes place every July at Camera Park, located at 101 E. Fullerton Avenue in Glendale Heights. This exciting festival features thrilling carnival rides, engaging games, an impressive lineup of live music, and plenty of family-friendly activities. With a spectacular fireworks show to close out the weekend, you’re in for an unforgettable display of lights and color at dusk on Sunday night!
