GHYBS Game Day: A Family Event
Celebrate the start of the season at the GHYBS Game Day event at Reskin Park on Saturday, May 3, from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm! Bring your team spirit and enjoy a fun-filled day with sign decorating to support your favorite teams, exciting games, face painting, music, and delicious food. Plus, don’t miss a special appearance by Laces, the beloved GHYBS mascot.
Join us for a great day of baseball, softball, and community fun!
11:00 am to 3:30 pm - Hot Dogs, Potato Chips & Water Available for $3 (While Supplies Last) & FREE for GHYBS Players Family
11:30 am to 4:00 pm - Face Painting
4:00 pm to 6:00 pm - FREE Ice Cream
Huskie Color Run
Join Centennial Park/NEDSRA, Addison for their first ever Huskie Color Run!
This 1.5 mile fundraising race will have tons of fun throughout the way. Runners prepare to run/walk/roll the course while getting splashed with color! Stay afterwards for the celebration including refreshments, awards, music and celebrate our mascot Hero the huskie’s birthday!
All pre-registrants will receive a Huskie Color Run T-shirt and a pair of sunglasses. Children under 2 are free. Pre-register by 4/25 to ensure your T-shirt and sunglasses. Pick up your packet at the NEDSRA office on 5/8 (12 pm - 7 pm) & 5/9 (9 am - 4 pm).

It’s designed to support those who cannot afford healthcare, reflecting UChicago Medicine AdventHealth’s mission to provide compassionate care to all—especially within our local community.

The mission of the Glendale Heights Leisure Services Department is to build on current strengths by preserving open space and providing quality recreational and leisure services and facilities for the residents of the Village of Glendale Heights. With our variety of parks, facilities, and Aquatic Center, we work day in and day out to accomplish the goals set within our statement and beyond.
