Roblox® World Creators (Ages 8-14)

This camp is designed for new and experienced Roblox® players. In this camp, Ninjas will learn how to build Roblox worlds using terrain tools to create thematic worlds, learn advanced building techniques, create an animated door using scripts, add sounds to their games, and much more! Throughout the day, Ninjas will develop their building and coding skills, using them to create a project they will be proud to show their friends and families.

JR Ninjabot Tournament (Ages 5-7)

In this camp, Ninjas will compete in multiple coding and building challenges using both Dash and LEGO robots. Throughout the camp, they will develop and grow their coding skills through Dash and engineering abilities through LEGO. Ninjas will split into team and compete in different Olympic theme events using their designs to see who can come out on top.

AI Academy - Harness the Future (Ages 8-14)

In this camp, Ninjas will explore Artificial Intelligence (AI) by utilizing and tinkering with a variety of tools, games, and resources. Ninjas will teach AI using image recognition through Google’s Teachable Machine that will allow them to control things in Scratch programs. Ninjas will also explore AI through multiple interactive simulations, such as Quick Draw, Magic Sketch Pad, Evolution, and ArtBot.

JR Gamemakers (Ages 5-7)

Perfect for our youngest designers, this camp is all about fun, learning, and imagination. With a focus on introducing basic coding concepts, campers will work with coding games like hide-and-seek, a simple clicker game, and a maze. Throughout camp, kids will have a blast remixing these games into their very own creations. They will learn to design unique backgrounds, create charming characters, and explore the endless possibilities of game design. Each day offers new opportunities for discovery and innovation, building a strong foundation in coding while keeping the experience fun and fantastic!

LEGO® RoboDojo (Ages 8-14)

This camp will challenge Ninjas to use LEGO® Spike Prime robotics kits to design and build their own robots, ranging from a charging rhino to a dancing troupe. Ninjas will learn and apply the fundamentals of sensors, motors, and coding to construct their own wild creations!

Minecraft® Redstone Realm (Ages 8-14)

In this camp, Ninjas will explore the world of Minecraft Redstone, using Minecraft Java Edition. Ninjas will learn more about electricity and circuitry, both inside and outside of Minecraft. Throughout the day, Ninjas will use their skills and knowledge to craft a variety of tools in Redstone, including lightbulbs, levers, switches, and more advanced components.

Chess Wizards Chess Class (Ages 5-13)

Chess Wizards offers challenging chess lessons, fun group activities, exciting tournaments, and more! If your child is brand new to chess, we’ll teach them the basics and get them playing right away. If they’re a seasoned checkmate artist, they’ll learn new ways to show their creativity on the chess board! Location: Fountain View Recreation Center.

Clay Creations (Ages 7-14)

See the possibilities a little bit of clay and a lot of imagination can bring. Participants learn techniques in hand-building including coil, slab, slumping, and glazing to transform wet clay into a fun and functional seasonal ceramic piece. Items will be kiln fired and ready for pick-up two weeks after class. Taught by Whim Studio staff.

Babysitting Basics (Ages 11-16)

A class designed to spark your imagination and teach the art of spellbinding tricks as card magic, rubber band magic and performances with coins! All supplies are included, along with printed out instructions as a handout to take home. See the trick, then learn how it’s done. Practice all of the steps, then perform for the class to work on stage presence, public speaking, and confidence.
