The German-style outdoor market has become so popular that it expanded to several locations in Illinois and Wisconsin in the past. This is the first house Wright designed in the Prairie Style. Following an extensive restoration (2005-08), the B. Harley Bradley House is now appreciated by architecture fans from around the world. The home is sited on one-acre on the banks of the scenic Kankakee River. Next door is another Wright design, the Hickox House, a private residence. These homes are located on the western edge of the Riverview Historic District, an area on the National Registry of historic places with beautiful 19th and 20th century homes on tree-lined streets.

We will travel to Morkes Chocolate in Palatine to indulge in the flavors of chocolate! This is a chocolate party for older kids and adults. You will have lots of fun learning about chocolate, playing with chocolate and tasting chocolate. Feel the heat of a desert oasis, the humidity of a tropical jungle and the bright colors of a floral garden…all at one destination! The Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, better known as The Domes, is a living museum filled with plants from across the globe. Every winter the Show Dome is transformed into a miniature train show with 600 feet of train tracks looping the exhibit, with unique props to set the scene and over 4,000 plants to create a stunning display.
