Lilacia Park Tour & Plant Sale (Ages 18 & Up)

We will travel to Lilacia Park in Lombard for “Lilac Time”, a blooming festival happening during the first two weeks of May. Following a Lilac Heritage Tour, the Lombard Garden Club will be conducting a sale of fragrant Lilac bushes. Shop a large selection of at least 15 different cultivars. Fee includes tour and transportation.

Chicago White Sox vs Detroit Tigers (Ages 18 & Up)

Paint in the Park (Ages 14 & Up) - Theme: Sunset

Join us at the Camera Park Shelter for a relaxed evening of painting. Get ready for a paint party that’s as diverse as the colors of the rainbow! Join us for Kaleidoscope Canvas, brush-dipping extravaganza suitable for ages 14 & up . Whether you’re 14 or 90, this is the art event that proves creativity knows no age limit! Why You Can’t Miss It: Canvas Guidance: Our professional artist will take you thru an artistic adventure. Get ready for a masterpiece of colors! All supplies provided. Anderson Japanese Gardens (Ages 18 & Up)

Located along Spring Creek in Rockford, the Anderson Japanese Gardens is an authentic 12-acre Japanese Garden very carefully designed and patiently pruned according to aesthetic principals to create a work of natural art that inspires calm, renewal, discovery and an invigorated soul. We will spend the day touring the gardens. You may bring a lunch or purchase one on-site at Fresco at The Gardens. Fee includes admission and transportation.

Paint a Pot (Ages 14 & Up)

6:00pm - 7:00pm

Pick out a piece of pottery, pick the paint colors. Sit down and paint your piece of pottery. The process is extremely simple. It’s art therapy for the young and old! Your piece will be available for pick up at the Sports Hub 8/12. Your finished item is microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. Finished pottery is non-toxic so it’s safe to eat from. An additional fee applies for larger pieces (fee may be paid via card or Apple pay on site).

Galena (Ages 18 & Up)

From 19th-century buildings on Galena’s Main Street to churches, hotels, train depots and other historic points of interest scattered across the countryside, Galena Country is full of hidden treasures. Join us for a full day of discovery. Fee includes transportation. Meals are on your own.

Lock & Lunch – Ottawa to Starved Rock 3 hr Riverboat Cruise (Ages 18 & Up)

Experience something new and fun when you’re a passenger aboard the Sainte Genevieve Riverboat as it passes through the Starved Rock Lock on the Illinois Waterway. Lunch in the Main Dining Room of historic Starved Rock Lodge and transportation are included.
