NEW! Intro to Flag Football Class

Learn to play flag football! If your child has never played flag football before or has only little experience this flag football clinic will be perfect for them! Our instructors will be happy to show your children the rules of flag football and the proper way to throw the football and steal flags.

Join us Friday, November 28, from 10:00 am to noon at the Sports Hub fieldhouse! This fun class for kids ages 5 to 15 is just $20 for residents and $25 for non-residents.


Holiday Cards for Military

Decorate a holiday card for our military to show your appreciation! Cards can be dropped off to one of the collection boxes located at any Village facility before Thursday, December 4.

Rules to follow when creating your card:
- Do not include any glitter
- Do not put the cards in an envelope
- Do not include any personal information such as your name, address or social media


Glendale Heights Food Drive

Food donations are being collected now through December at Village Hall, the Sports Hub, and the Linda Jackson Center for Senior Citizens.

Accepted items: non-perishable food items, canned goods, condiments, and toiletries. Your contributions support our local food pantries and provide assistance to families in our community.

Christmas Sharing

The Glendale Heights Christmas Sharing program helps give back to those families in need during the holiday season! Christmas Sharing giving trees with wished for items on ornaments will be available at Village Hall, the Linda Jackson Center for Senior Citizens and the Sports Hub as we try to give back to those in need.

The Christmas Sharing Committee created an Amazon Wish List to make giving easier than ever! Gift drop off deadline is Friday, December 5.


Free Medicare and Medicaid Assistance for Seniors

The Linda Jackson Center for Senior Citizens is a designated Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) sponsored site, offering free one-on-one assistance to Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers. Through this program, trained SHIP counselors provide guidance on Medicare and Medicaid benefits, coverage options, and available resources to help seniors make informed healthcare decisions.

Residents seeking assistance are encouraged to contact the Linda Jackson Center for Senior Citizens to schedule an appointment by calling 630.260.6050.

With our variety of parks, facilities, and Aquatic Center, we work day in and day out to accomplish the goals set within our statement and beyond.
