Glendale Heights Food Drive
Food donations are being collected now through December at Village Hall, the Sports Hub, and the Linda Jackson Center for Senior Citizens.
Accepted items: non-perishable food items, canned goods, condiments, and toiletries. Your contributions support our local food pantries and provide assistance to families in our community.

NEW! Intro to Flag Football Class
Learn to play flag football! If your child has never played flag football before or has only little experience this flag football clinic will be perfect for them! Our instructors will be happy to show your children the rules of flag football and the proper way to throw the football and steal flags.
Join us Friday, November 28, from 10:00 am to noon at the Sports Hub fieldhouse! This fun class for kids ages 5 to 15 is just $20 for residents and $25 for non-residents.
Free Medicare and Medicaid Assistance for Seniors
The Linda Jackson Center for Senior Citizens is a designated Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) sponsored site, offering free one-on-one assistance to Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers. Through this program, trained SHIP counselors provide guidance on Medicare and Medicaid benefits, coverage options, and available resources to help seniors make informed healthcare decisions.
Residents seeking assistance are encouraged to contact the Linda Jackson Center for Senior Citizens to schedule an appointment by calling 630.260.6050.
Glendale Heights Seasonal Market
The Glendale Heights Seasonal Market is now inside! Stop by the Sports Hub on the first and third Thursday every month from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Shop for food, produce, crafts and more from locally sourced vendors.

Glendale Heights Garden Club
Are you interested in gardening, flowers, and greenery? The Glendale Heights Garden Club (Ages 18 and Up) welcomes enthusiasts of all skill levels to join our vibrant community. Make new friends, share tips and watch your love for greenery bloom!
Meetings will take place at the Sports Hub (250 Civic Center Plaza) on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm.

The mission of the Glendale Heights Leisure Services Department is to build on current strengths by preserving open space and providing quality recreational and leisure services and facilities for the residents of the Village of Glendale Heights. With our variety of parks, facilities, and Aquatic Center, we work day in and day out to accomplish the goals set within our statement and beyond.
